Meet the South Carolina husband and wife songwriting duo, Mike and Jeanne Malota, whose shared passion for music and love for each other inspired them to start the Southern Boots Band. They create a unique sound that blends country, rock, and pop which resonates with a diverse audience.  Whether exploring love, friendship, or heartbreak, their songwriting is both authentic and impactful. With a blend of heartfelt lyrics and appealing melodies, they draw inspiration from their own experiences. Together, they write songs that tell stories about life, and everything in between, in hopes to resonate with their listeners on a personal level.

Mike is a talented guitar player that shows remarkable skill and creativity in his playing. His versatility enables him to seamlessly transition between different genres, whether it's country, rock, pop, or blues. Not only does he play guitar, but he also plays the banjo and drums.

Jeanne, also known by her nickname "Jeannie", is a talented singer who has had a strong stage presence in the worship music world since a very young age. She is known for being a versatile singer who can effortlessly navigate multiple styles of music, showcasing her adaptability and broad vocal range. 

The duo has their first independently produced album under their belt: ”Let’s Go Out”.  Join them on their journey as they continue to evolve and inspire through their artistry.
